| Batesburg-Leesville Primary and the B-L and Twin City Rotary Clubs will present "Got Book?" on Tuesday, January 31 at 6 p.m. in the BLPS cafeteria. An art show will also be held from 5-7 p.m. and a spaghetti supper sponsored by the school's PTO will be held in the cafeteria beginning at 6:30 p.m. |

I have two daughters, Heather and Mandy. Heather is a graduate from USC's College of Pharmacy. She is Pharmacist at Walgreens in Lexingtgon where she resides. Mandy is a graduate of Winthrop University with a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design. She is an an Interior Designer for McWaters Inc. in Augusta, Georgia.
She presently resides in Batesburg and will move to Charlotte in June after she marries!

In April, we will be going to the Roper Mountain Science Center in Greenville, SC to participate in several standards based hands-on Science activites. You can check out some of our previous visits under our class web pages. We will be taking lunch from the cafeteria. The amount of a regular lunch will be deducted from your child's account. We will also be taking a trip to Beaufort to learn about the wonderful wildlife and features of our South Carolina Coast. We will be taking a charter bus and eat at one of the local restaurants in Beaufort. This trip will be in April as well. In May, we will be going to Rawl's Farm in Pelion to learn about healthy fruits and vegetables and how the assembly line operates.
